Win 26 Week Marketing Plan Worth Approximately $800

You may recall that I reviewed the 26 Week Marketing Plan, and I thought it was very well done and very informative. Because I reviewed it, I have a copy that I’m willing to give away to one lucky contest-winner. In that review post, I mentioned that if you checked it out and read the material, you would have the chance to win this prize. But I’ve decided that it would be too difficult to expect you to remember what you read all this time later. So, let’s make things easier.

There will be two (3) ways of entering this contest.

1) Subscribe to my private list. Look over to the right. See the form just under the yellow highlighted text (under Join My…

Fill In The Blank For A Chance To Win

I’d like to do an informal poll and I would sincerely appreciate it if you would participate. I promise it is very easy. Keep in mind that the broad subject matter of this blog is primarily centered around making a living online, and the various methods of accomplishing that goal. With that in mind, would you please submit a comment that fills in the blank to the following:

How do I _________________________________________?

Feel free to submit as many comments as you want. The goal here is to find out what you would like to know how to do (as in a step-by-step process). Please make it specific; in other words, don’t say How do I make money online? That’s too broad. Narrow it down…

Finding Inspiration In Almost Anything

I’m sure you’ve noticed over the last 5 days, that I’ve been writing posts based only on finding Flickr photos that inspired me. This was a little experiment that I wanted to try, and I was very happy with the results. Each day I glanced at the “most recent 100 Flickr Creative Commons By: photos“. Of course, depending upon what time of day I chose to go, would determine the 100 photos I would see, since they were the “most recent”. From those 100 photos, I would pick the one that I liked the best for whatever reason, and used it to inspire the post I would write that night (to be published the next morning).

Everyone experiences writers’ block, so I wanted to play with…

Harnessing Creativity

from StuSeeger

Every day this week, I’ll be posting based upon a random Flickr image that inspires me. Here’s one now.

Today is the final day of my random Flickr inspirational posts, and I will sum up the experience this weekend. Until then, I’d like to explain what this photo of a wind farm brings to mind for me.

I’ve always been amazed at the idea of “capturing” something as ethereal as the wind, and then creating something as powerful as electrical energy from it. Not only do I find the concept astonishing, but I can’t help but wonder who first had the idea of harnessing the wind’s power and turning that into electricity. I mean, who would come up with such a…

I See Your True Colors Shining Through

from weirsdo

Every day this week, I’ll be posting based upon a random Flickr image that inspires me. Here’s one now.

This photo exudes happiness, freedom, confidence, and joy. Each of us has experienced such boundless expression at some point in our lives, when we shed all inhibitions, danced simply for the joy of it, and really allowed our true colors to shine through. Infusing this colorful freedom of expression into not only our “play time” but also into our work time is critical to success, in my opinion.

You don’t have to be colorful, playful, joyous and creative in every blog post or every site article, but that side of you needs to shine through on occasion. Your joyful spirit can embody your ebusiness…

26 Week Internet Marketing Plan: Review

If you recall, I mentioned the 4 Phases of Internet Marketing private membership site last week, that offers a free 61-Page PDF report. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should head over there now.

The same people who created that site, have also created a 26 week Internet marketing program that gives an incredible amount of in-depth information aimed at helping small business achieve online success, and is the expanded version of the free PDF report above.

I’ve been reviewing the 26 week program for a few weeks now, and it is definitely comprehensive and informative. In fact, when the package showed up in the mail, I was surprised by everything that was in the box. (It came with a t-shirt too, but that’s in the…

I Got Dis

from popofatticus

Every day this week, I’ll be posting based upon a random Flickr image that inspires me. Here’s one now.

Is that a cute pic, or what? It reminds me very much of my 2 year old granddaughter. She’s at that stage of blooming independence in which she wants to do things for herself without any help from us old fogies. If I attempt to help her put on her shoes, for example, she’ll say “I got dis”. Sometimes, she does “have it” under control, and other times she still needs my help. But her confidence in her growing abilities is fun to watch.

I, on the other hand, am regressing as I age. Rather than growing in independence…

The Forbidden Book of Getting What You Want

A lot of what drives me, you, and this site is motivation. Without it, we can’t achieve our goals unless we just get lucky enough to tumble down a mountain and land in a steaming pool of molten luck. Assuming that doesn’t happen, we have to find ways to motivate ourselves so that we get what we want.

I pass along thoughts, ideas, sites, and information that can help motivate us whenever I can. Today is one of those days.

Have you been looking for a motivational book that isn’t like all the other motivational books out there? An acquaintance of mine, JK Ellis, wrote one and I wanted to let you know about it. This ISN’T your normal self-help kind of book. It’s called…

Your Online Business Needs You To Be Yourself

from jiparker

Every day this week, I’ll be posting based upon a random Flickr image that inspires me. Here’s one now.

I love this Flickr photo. I recognize myself in that little girl, as I might have been 40 or so years ago. I hated girly-girl stuff, and when Mom would try to dress me up in fru-fru little dresses, like the one this little girl is obviously being forced to wear, I would make a similarly frustrated face. Red velveteen, ruffly dresses aren’t me, and it would be a disaster in the making if I attempted to pretend otherwise.

That same concept applies to establishing your presence on the web, especially if you are blogging, or presenting some sort of personal point of view…

Life Is A Series of Snapshot Frames

from zackreddy

Every day this week, I’ll be posting based upon a random Flickr image that inspires me. Here’s one now.

I love this photo because it’s reflective in nature. It requires one to look at it and reflect upon it, rather than merely appreciating it for its beauty. The message you receive from it is very likely different than the one I receive from it, but that’s what makes great art. The message that speaks to me is that life is a series of snapshot frames. Normally, we don’t notice all of the intricate twists and turns and nuances that speed by as we live our lives. But sometimes, if we stop for a moment to reflect upon…
