Of course, everyone's definition of "a living" is different. One person might consider making $250,000 per year the minimum needed to "make a living". That definition is going to require a different approach than the person who thinks $50,000 per year is "making a living". And of course, there's nothing wrong with making extra money, on top of one's "in real life" j-o-b, by using an online income as a supplement. Leaving the corporate world, to make it online, really depends on many things. Do you have a plan? Do you have some money set aside to live on while you build the online business? And of course, depending upon what the plan is, other questions will likely need to be answered. But in general, of course it's possible. Many of us have done it. But the one piece of advice I always give - why not start out while you still have a job? You'll be able to better judge the feasibility once you get your feet wet. If it goes well, you can expand it, eventually going full time. If it doesn't, you still have your job, and you've probably made a little side money during the experiment. The second piece of advice I always give - don't wait. The sooner you start...the sooner it happens. Simple as that. Sure, I’ve been making my living – full time – online for several years.
