Absolutely I know your uncle. Good guy. Regarding finding your niche, I mentioned in a post recently that you need to think of these kinds of questions.

What are your interests and what are you good at doing? When people come to you for advice, what topics are they usually asking about?

You've probably already read Part 2 of the series at http://www.dazzlindonna.com/blog/making-money-online/how-to-make-a-living-in-your-pajamas-part-two/ that lists some more questions that similarly help narrow it down.

I usually advise taking the list you come up with of your interests and skills and researching the topics to see how many people are searching for those topics, whether or not there are affiliate programs within those topics, or if there are lots of adwords ads around the topic. That will help determine which are worth pursuing if income is the goal. Have Dave show you how to use the Google keyword tool to do that research. He can do that kind of thing with his eyes closed and his hands tied behind his back. :)

Thanks for the quick reply. I was referred to this site by Dave Oremland, He is my uncle, and said you had a great site going here and were a friend and very nice person. I'm not sure if you know him or remember him but that is how i got here. I am also having trouble coming up with an idea for my own website. I am brainstorming with people and would like to find a niche where i could compete for attention. Any further advice would be amazing.

Definitely go with a business account. If I remember correctly, a personal account only lets you RECEIVE 5 payments per year. Obviously, you want to receive income much more than that. Business accounts also let you accept payment from people who don't already have a paypal account. It takes a little more effort to set up a business account, but it's not too hard, and definitely preferable.
