When people come to you for advice, what topics are they usually asking about? I usually advise taking the list you come up with of your interests and skills and researching the topics to see how many people are searching for those topics, whether or not there are affiliate programs within those topics, or if there are lots of adwords ads around the topic. That will help determine which are worth pursuing if income is the goal. Have Dave show you how to use the Google keyword tool to do that research. If I remember correctly, a personal account only lets you RECEIVE 5 payments per year. Obviously, you want to receive income much more than that. Business accounts also let you accept payment from people who don't already have a paypal account.
