Go Into 2009 With Your Brain Intact
TweetTomorrow I’m going to make a special post, and I’m looking forward to making it. But before I do that, I wanted to share a blog post I just finished reading elsewhere. There are a couple of things I say often:
1. I am not rich, but I make a living by working from home, and I like to make that distinction, because I don’t want to fool anyone into thinking they’ll get rich (they might…but probably not).
2. I also harp on the idea of getting into this on a part-time basis, while you work your dull, boring day j-o-b, so that you don’t jump into something and spend the next year having nothing more than a dime to your name. However, I also think many people are fools for NOT working from home part-time, so they have SOMETHING to fall back on – plus a headstart – if they lose their j-o-b’s unexpectedly.
