Quick Tips Tuesday – Volume 7
TweetQuick Tip Tuesdays are designed to give quick tips for everyone to be able to implement right now, or at least, this week. The tips are divided up into 3 categories: 2 tips for those who haven’t yet started their own site, 1 tip for those who need more traffic to their existing site, and 1 tip for those looking to find a new way to monetize their existing site. This is Volume 7.
Not Yet Started A Site:
- Go on a picture hunt. Find pictures that illustrate the headlines you jotted down last week. Make sure you have the rights to use those pictures.
- Find the top experts in your niche. Read their blogs. Add their RSS feeds to your feedreader. Don’t have a feedreader? Try Google Reader.
Need More Traffic:
- Ask 5 friends to recommend your site to others. Asking for a tweet would qualify. What? You aren’t using Twitter? Consider signing up and becoming active on it to be part of this tip then. Follow my tweets while you’re at it.
Need More Monetization Ideas:
- Start or enhance your own online affiliate business. Contact companies that make products in your niche who don’t already have affiliate programs. Ask them to create one, or work on becoming their one and only exclusive affiliate partner.
If you’ve already used these tips on your own, or just don’t have time right now, add them to a to-do list. You can implement many of the tips more than once, and you can always come back when you have time to tackle those you didn’t have time for.
Keep your Quick Tip Tuesday to-do list handy so you can add more later, and implement whenever you have some spare time.
