Quick Tip Tuesday – Volume 9
TweetQuick Tip Tuesdays are designed to give quick tips for everyone to be able to implement right now, or at least, this week. The tips are divided up into 3 categories: 2 tips for those who haven’t yet started their own site, 1 tip for those who need more traffic to their existing site, and 1 tip for those looking to find a new way to monetize their existing site. This is Volume 9.
Not Yet Started A Site:
- Find 5 online communities in your niche to join.
- Make notes on who the “top dogs” are in those communities and strive to understand why they are so popular.
Need More Traffic:
- Attend an event based around your niche topic. Either live blog it or create one or more videos. The videos might document aspects of the event, or center around interviewing event speakers and attendees.
Need More Monetization Ideas:
- Create a design your visitors will love, slap the design on some shoes at zazzle.com/custom/shoes, and let your visitors buy cool, custom, niche-designed shoes from you.
If you’ve already used these tips on your own, or just don’t have time right now, add them to a to-do list. You can implement many of the tips more than once, and you can always come back when you have time to tackle those you didn’t have time for.
Keep your Quick Tip Tuesday to-do list handy so you can add more later, and implement whenever you have some spare time.
