Quick Tip Tuesday – Volume 8

Quick Tip Tuesdays are designed to give quick tips for everyone to be able to implement right now, or at least, this week. The tips are divided up into 3 categories: 2 tips for those who haven’t yet started their own site, 1 tip for those who need more traffic to their existing site, and 1 tip for those looking to find a new way to monetize their existing site. This is Volume 8.

Not Yet Started A Site:

• Ask friends and family what questions they have about your niche. What knowledge about it do they need?
• List 5 questions that could be answered via video show-and-tell.

Need More Traffic:

• Trade 125×125 ad spots with a blogger who blogs in a niche that would be interesting to your readers (even if your site isn’t a blog).

Need More Monetization Ideas:

• Become a consultant. Advertise your own consulting service via your site. Promote yourself in the same way you would promote an affiliate program.

If you’ve already used these tips on your own, or just don’t have time right now, add them to a to-do list. You can implement many of the tips more than once, and you can always come back when you have time to tackle those you didn’t have time for.

Keep your Quick Tip Tuesday to-do list handy so you can add more later, and implement whenever you have some spare time.
