Quick Tip Tuesday – Volume 1

Quick Tip Tuesdays are designed to give quick tips for everyone to be able to implement right now, or at least, this week. The tips are divided up into 3 categories: 2 tips for those who haven’t yet started their own site, 1 tip for those who need more traffic to their existing site, and 1 tip for those looking to find a new way to monetize their existing site. This is Volume 1.

Not Yet Started A Site:

Spend a day or two looking at free themes (either free css templates or free WordPress themes) to find one that you really, really love, and could customize to match your own brand and personality.
Spend a day or two thinking about what kind of logo would best represent your site/niche/idea.

Need More Traffic:

Search for guest blogging opportunties. Connect with 5 bloggers to submit guest post ideas to.

Need More Monetization Ideas:

Research and find at least two niche affiliate networks that aren’t one of the “big networks” that everyone already knows about.

If you’ve already used these tips on your own, or just don’t have time right now, add them to a to-do list. You can implement many of the tips more than once, and you can always come back when you have time to tackle those you didn’t have time for.

Keep your Quick Tip Tuesday to-do list handy so you can add more later, and implement whenever you have some spare time.
