In general, though, you'd want to start with a plan for what you want to do with the idea, come up with a name, register a domain name, get a hosting account, install WordPress (if you will be using a blog), and start blogging (or creating content for a non-blog). But those are just "general" beginning steps that apply across the board, whereas your specific situation might need lots more beginning steps as well.
