Are you looking for a way to spice up your site or blog while using cool technology? A widget is probably the answer. There are thousands of widgets available out there, and I plan to point a few out that are particularly noteworthy in future posts. Today’s noteworthy widget is a really funny gizmo that lets you create a JibJab-style talking head out of any photo you have (person or animal). It’s really funny, and a lot of fun. My mornings are routine. I wake up, stumble to the coffee pot, stumble to the office, and spend the next 2 hours waking up while reading emails, blogs, etc. This morning was anything but routine. My dogs began barking wildly so I looked out the sliding glass door to see what was going on. The donkeys had come a-calling!

My neighbor’s donkeys had escaped and were visiting us. There is a fence separating them from us which travels the length of the fields from the road back to the pond that covers both properties. I’ve been living in a rural area for about 3 months now. A couple of days ago, some punks drove by and smashed my mailbox with a baseball bat.
