Interview with Skellie of Skelliewag

Last week, I told you that I wanted to share some sites with you that I think you should be reading, and today I’ve got another great interview with one of those bloggers. Hope you enjoy it. I just really love reading Skelliewag.org. When Skellie’s posts arrive in my feedreader, I feel like I’m going to be looking at a topic through an artist’s eye. I wanted to know why I felt... read more

Interview with Nathania of Bold Interactive

There are a few people whose blogs affect me in a substantial way for one reason or another, and I came to the conclusion that I should be sharing these with you as well. Knowledge doesn’t flow from just one point. If you want to learn, you should be learning from different valuable sources. If I am aware of some of these resources, then I believe it’s my job to point them out to you. So... read more

Want Your Own Yahoo! Mash Space?

Yahoo! just unveiled Mash, its newest social networking space. Of course, you have to be invited to participate at the moment, as is the norm with these Web 2.0 beta things. Once you have a Mash profile, it appears that you then can invite unlimited amounts of people. I might be wrong on that, but I don’t see any limits, anyway. So, I’ll be happy to give invites to anyone and everyone who... read more

Dazzlin Badge of Excellence for Coaching Wizardry

This Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to Coaching Wizardry. Joanna Young is a writing coach, and on the surface her blog is a writing blog. She says that her blog is about “exploring the power of words to change our worlds, to transform our experience of reality.” But her blog is so much more than a blog about writing, so don’t confine your thinking about this one. To me, this... read more

Dazzlin Badge of Excellence for Skelliewag

This Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to Skelliewag. Skelliewag’s tag line is “On Creating Content 2.0 To Match The New Web” and Skellie does a great job of doing just that, while teaching readers how to do the same. I love reading great content, and when that same great content gives tips on how to create more great content, well, it’s like a never-ending spinning... read more

Dazzlin Badge of Excellence for Domestik Goddesses

Today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to Jen / domestika of Domestik Goddess. I’m not quite sure how to describe how this site makes me feel, but it definitely “ain’t no stinkin’ Martha Stewart”. Somehow, I feel like I could actually be a domestik goddess while being mostly goddess, and not so much “domestik”. Does that make any sense? No? Oh... read more

DazzlinDonna Now Has Full RSS Feeds

If you haven’t subscribed to the feed here in the past because you hate partial feeds, you’ll be happy to know that those days are over. Starting today, you’ll be able to subscribe to full feeds. I generally adhere to my rule of giving out only partial feeds when a blog is new so that scrapers don’t outrank the blog in the search engines. Now, however, i think this blog has... read more

How I Plan To Survive My Next Computer Crash

My entire weekend was ruined when my computer died early Saturday morning. I wasn’t entirely surprised. My computers tend to give up the ghost every 2-3 years, and the latest had lasted nearly 4 years. I wasn’t too worried. I have backups, right? Well, yes, sort of. For some reason, my backups stopped happening 4 months ago. I don’t know why. So my latest backup is really old. ... read more

The Dazzlin Badge of Excellence Goes To…

I chose to give today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence to Sarah Dopp of Dopp Juice primarily based upon her Practice Senseless Acts of Beauty post. However, I’ve had her blog in mind for a while now because she has an interesting perspective. Her tag line alone, “the seeds and pulp just make it more interesting”, is enough to make me want to know more. So I thank you, Ms. Dopp, for... read more

Today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence goes to…

Because everyone needs a little humor and sarcasm mixed in with excellent advice, today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence goes to Bloggrrl.com! The irreverent style sweetly mixed with good content is a definite winner. I’d imagine it may not be right for everyone, especially the most conservative of folks, but if you don’t mind a little in-your-face humor now and then, it’s worth... read more
