This Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to LightEcho. I haven’t given a badge of excellence in a while, and this is the first I’ve given to someone of the male species.

I like this site, not only because it’s visually appealing to me, but because the information it contains is broad and varied, but still on point. And what is that point? Well, I’ll let Jonathan’s own words explain that:

LightEcho.com is the creation of a long time philosopher, a seasoned economist and an experienced internet engineer. It has been designed to provide insight, practical advice, and a new perspective on the emerging internet and technology that inhabit our everyday lives. By imparting ideas that are both attainable and enlightening, the internet can be understood on a level other than what is offered through mass media.

I haven’t fully explored every post in LightEcho’s engaging repertoire, but of of the ones I’ve read, I’m hooked. I bet you will be too.

Dazzlin Badge of Excellence for Coaching Wizardry

This Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to Coaching Wizardry. Joanna Young is a writing coach, and on the surface her blog is a writing blog. She says that her blog is about “exploring the power of words to change our worlds, to transform our experience of reality.” But her blog is so much more than a blog about writing, so don’t confine your thinking about this one. To me, this blog is inspiring. It inspires thoughts and emotions, choices and actions, visions and lessons. I mentioned that Attitude is a key aspect to your success, and in my opinion, you can use blogs like Coaching Wizardry to help define that attitude. I’ve subscribed to this one and I think you should too.

Dazzlin Badge of Excellence for Skelliewag

This Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to Skelliewag. Skelliewag’s tag line is “On Creating Content 2.0 To Match The New Web” and Skellie does a great job of doing just that, while teaching readers how to do the same. I love reading great content, and when that same great content gives tips on how to create more great content, well, it’s like a never-ending spinning kaleidoscope of great content. There are many aspects to being successful with an online business, but creating fabulous content is way up at the top of the list, so I recommend subscribing to Skelliewag.

Dazzlin Badge of Excellence for Domestik Goddesses

Today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence is awarded to Jen / domestika of Domestik Goddess. I’m not quite sure how to describe how this site makes me feel, but it definitely “ain’t no stinkin’ Martha Stewart”. Somehow, I feel like I could actually be a domestik goddess while being mostly goddess, and not so much “domestik”. Does that make any sense? No? Oh well, who cares. It’s a neat site. I like it. It wins an award. ‘Nuff said.

I chose to give today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence to Sarah Dopp of Dopp Juice primarily based upon her Practice Senseless Acts of Beauty post. However, I’ve had her blog in mind for a while now because she has an interesting perspective. Her tag line alone, “the seeds and pulp just make it more interesting”, is enough to make me want to know more. So I thank you, Ms. Dopp, for bringing some beauty and curiosity into my day.

Because everyone needs a little humor and sarcasm mixed in with excellent advice, today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence goes to Bloggrrl.com! The irreverent style sweetly mixed with good content is a definite winner. I’d imagine it may not be right for everyone, especially the most conservative of folks, but if you don’t mind a little in-your-face humor now and then, it’s worth checking out.

First ever Dazzlin Badge of Excellence Award

In honor of the new design for DD, I’ve decided to present the first ever Dazzlin Badge of Excellence Award. I’ll be giving this award to outstanding blogs that I believe are worthy of a mention. In many cases, these bloggers will be female, simply because women bloggers deserve a little extra credit. No reason why, just cuz… However, I promise to throw an award at a guy now and then too. I’m not mean.

So today’s Dazzlin Badge of Excellence Awards goes to techie diva! There’s something outrageously special about combining geek-gal techno-knowledge with a fashion flare. Techie Diva manages to showcase tech products or gizmos that appeal to a techie that also have a fashionable function. I don’t know where she finds all these cool things, but some are absolute must-haves. Techie Diva rocks.
